Mr. William Marvin Thomas, age 57, of 252 Hunnicutt Circle, Bowersville, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born August 22, 1949, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Rothus and Mildred (Floyd) Thomas. He was formerly employed by the Lavonia Mfg. Company and he was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was predeceased by his parents; aunts: Florence Robbins and Sue Wheeler; and uncle: Rueben Floyd.
Survivors include sons: Willie and Jimmy Thomas of Bowersville; and grandchildren: Emily and Amy Thomas of Bowersville, Chelsey Lee of Toccoa, Summer Ord of Eastanollee, and Shaia Maynard of Carnesville.
The family is at the home of Joyce Freeman, Carnesville, and will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
