Mrs. Mary A. McLane White, 85, of Crossroads Circle, Hartwell, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.

Born on November 3, 1928 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Eppie McLane and Myrtice Bailey McLane Simpson.She was a retired Inspector at Bellcraft Mfg. and Stone Mfg., a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and attended Price Chapel Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Fitzpatrick & Wendell and Kay Canady & Jody all of Hartwell; a son, Dean White of Hartwell; a brother, Roy McLane of Austell GA; a sister, Iola Chastain of Monroe GA; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.She was also survived by special friends, Barbara Pierce, Brenda Loyd and the congregation of the Price Chapel Church of God.Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. White; two sons, Donnie and Tommy White; a daughter, Betty Jane White and four brothers, Joe McLane, Bobby McLane, Edwin Simpson & J. D. Simpson.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Price Chapel Church of God with Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
