Obituary
Mrs. Mary Christine Barnett, 80, of 3251 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, died peacefully Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 8, 1932 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Brock and Era Davis Brock.She was a homemaker and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons:William Barnett of Gillsville, GA, Randy Barnett and his wife Teresa of Royston; two daughters: Peggy Ginn and her husband Roy of Hartwell, and Bridget Barnett of Hartwell; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Haskell Barnett, and one sister, Myrtle Johnson.
Mrs. Barnett's wishes were to be cremated.A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
