Mrs. Mary Ann Feuerhelm Bird, 78, of Bird Court, Hartwell, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at her home.
Born on April 03, 1940 in LaGrande OR, Mrs. Bird was the daughter of the late Kenneth Edward Feuerhelm and Ethel Luella McCrae Feuerhelm.Mrs. Bird received a Masters in Accounting and worked for many years as a Clerk for several financial institutions.
Survivors include her husband; Donald Bird; three daughters: Cathy Bird of Hartwell, Carol Bird of Suwanee GA and Carrie Bird Dillon (Mike) ofPowder Springs GA; two sisters: Janice F. Patterson of Eugene OR and Elsie Eileen Ross of LaGrande OR and three grandchildren: Connor Dillon, Travis Dillon and Tyler Bird.Mrs. Bird was preceded in death by her parents and a son: Mark Bird.
A graveside service celebrating Mary Ann's life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Creek Cemetery, Joseph OR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Hospice, PO Box 6588, Athens GA 30606.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
