Miss Mary Byczek, 61, of 80 Woodlake Dr., Hartwell, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens.

Born on April 13, 1947 in Chicago IL, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. Byczek.She was a former nurse's aide at Christ Hospital, Oaklawn IL and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Hartwell.

She is survived by her mother: Lillian Theisen Byczek of the home.

A funeral mass will be Monday, November 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Terence Kane officiating.Miss Byczek will be cremated following the service.

The body will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Monday, where the family will receive friends until the hour of the mass.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ones favorite charity with in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson St., Hartwell, GA30643.
