Ms. Mary Wright Campbell, 93, of 94 Brown St., Hartwell, died Sunday, September 2 at her home.

Born on April 6, 1914 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Cullen Wright and Mossie Osborne Wright.She was employed 35 years at the Farmer's Home Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she retired as an office manager.She was a member of the Hartwell First Baptist Church, Friendship Sunday School Class, Day Baptist Women's Missionary Society and Home Extension Department.She was a charter member of the Savannah River Valley Genealogical Society.

She is survived by her two children, a daughter: Janet Joyce Campbell and a son: Cullen Wright Campbell both of Hartwell.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Louise Wright Rendon.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. F. Hugh Kirby officiating.Burial will follow in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.The family is at the home.
