Mary Jean Carter Farmer, age 68, of Martin, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born October 21, 1952, in Brevard, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Jackson Carter and Jean Lanning Carter. She graduated from Eastanollee High School and was a retired healthcare worker with Stephens County Hospital.
She is survived by her husband: Danny D. Farmer of the home; son: Sean D. Farmer of Martin; granddaughter: Madison D. Farmer of Dallas, TX; sister: Linda Greenway; brothers: William Carter, Roger Carter, John Carter, and George Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home. The family requests that everyone wear masks and follow all public health guidelines.
