Miss Mary Christine Fowler, 62, of Athens Street, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Landmark Hospital in Athens.

Born on May 9, 1961 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Fowler and Mary Ruth Hicks Fowler.  Miss Fowler formerly worked at Bells Grocery Store and Sky City, and she was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

She is survived by her special cousins: Betty & Dan Bailey, and their children Lee & Jay; and her fur baby: Tippy. Miss fowler is preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their homes.

Funeral services for Miss Christine Fowler will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.  A private burial will be held at the Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
