Ms. Mary Louise Clark, age 69, of Lavonia, died Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.
Born September 17, 1941, in Walhalla, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lee Clark and Maggie Lee (Carroll) Clark. She retired from Sleep Inn and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Dewey Carver, Bobby Carver, and Romaine Carver; and sister: Geneva Corn.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Carey and Donna Pilgrim of Martin; grandson: Rodney Pilgrim of Martin; granddaughter: Leanne Pilgrim Crump and husband Andrew Crump of Lavonia; granddaughter: Kayla Pilgrim of Martin; great-grandson: Brody Crump; sister and brother-in-law: Betty Joe and Alfred Teate of Martin; brother: Carol Carver of Cornelia; and brother and sister-in-law: Hershel and Juanita Clark of Anderson, SC.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Gettis Allen officiating.
