Ms. Mary Alice Crisco Hinson, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospice House in Watkinsville.

Born on March 14, 1944 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Grady Crisco and Rachel Wray Fisher Crisco. Ms. Hinson was owner/operator of Mary's Kitchen for 20 years and a member of Bio Baptist Church.

She is survived by five sons: Steve Fellows (Sherry) of Hartwell, Mike Fellows (Kristin) of Winder, GA, Wayne Hinson of Hartwell, Todd Hinson (Brittany) of Buford, GA, and Matt Hinson (Caressa) of Buford, GA; two daughters: Libby Wilson (Kirk) of Hartwell and Pam A. McAlister (Tim) of West Union, SC; one brother: Larry Alfred "Sam" Crisco of Covington, GA; one sister: Betty Sue Waldrop of Hartwell; and fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Ms. Hinson is preceded in death by her parents and husbands: Winston Fellows and Thomas D. "Tommy" Hinson.

Ms. Hinson will lie in state Sunday afternoon at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell and the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.Other times the family will be at the home of her son, Wayne Hinson, 375 Mt. Hebron Rd, Hartwell.

A memorial service celebrating Ms. Mary Alice Hinson's life will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating. In accordance to her wishes, Ms. Hinson will be cremated following her memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
