Mrs. Mary Lynn (Morrison) Eberhart, age 81, of Lavonia, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born December 30, 1934, in Roane County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Herschel and Grace (Nipper) Morrison. She graduated from the University of Auburn and was the chief pharmacist at Emory University Hospital. She also owned and operated Morrison's Pharmacy. She was a member of the Lavonia United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Mack Eberhart; children: Tom & Karen Eberhart, David Eberhart, Carol & Jeffrey West, and Mark Eberhart & Callie Loser; brother & sister-in-law: James & Nina Morrison; grandchildren: Julie Ferguson, James West, Benjamin West, Andrew Eberhart, Margaret West, Ryan West, and Dustin Eberhart; great-grandchildren: Emma Eberhart, Noah Eberhart, Alice Ferguson, and Sam Ferguson; niece: Nina Lynn Brook & Steve; nephew: James Morrison & Jennifer; five grand nephews; and one grand niece.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Lavonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Randall Massengill officiating. A private burial will be held in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, 25 Baker Street, Lavonia, GA 30553.
