Mrs. Mary Finegan Harris, 69, of Hillcrest Circle, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA.

Born on June 7, 1949 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Finegan and Anne Russell Finegan. Mrs. Harris was a former secretary for a law firm and a clerk for Wal-Mart Pharmacy.

Survivors include her husband: David W. Harris; one son: Ken Parsons of Round Hill, VA; one daughter Penni Walker of Cumberland, MD; two step-sons: Chris Harris, John Harris both of TX; five brothers: Michael Finegan, Dick Finegan of Waveland MS, Jimbo Finegan of Hanover PA, Larry Finegan of Emmetsburg MD, Dan Finegan of Philadelphia PA; two sisters: Kathy Turley of Milton DE, Eagle Finegan of Gulf Port FL; eight grandchildren: Ashleigh Walker, Theresa Pereira, Shannon Holland, Chris Walker, Riley Parsons, Braden Parsons, Zachary Harris and Katrina Harris; three great grandchildren: Ella, Emma and Bud Pereira and her beloved animal children: Shorty, Toby, Sonny and Spring.Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service celebrating Mary's life will be held on Saturday afternoon at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Animal Rescue of one's choice.
