Mrs. Mary Frances Fleming Harris, age 69 of 985 N. Forest Avenue, Hartwell, Ga., died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at AnMed Medical Center.

Born September 13, 1938 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. Fleming and Mae Lillie Crocker Fleming. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Couples 3 Sunday School Class, WMU, was active in church fundraising and a member of the benevolence committee.

She is survived by: husband, George H. Harris of the home, son, Wayne Harris, Marietta, Ga., daughters, Susan Cleary and her husband Mike of San Antonio, TX., Kathy Dean and her husband, Tommy of Danielsville, Ga., brother, Charles Fleming and his wife, Billie, Douglasville, Ga., sisters, Avis Wesp, Hartwell, Ga., Irene Dutton and her husband, Ken, Decatur, Ga., Peggy Gann, Mableton, Ga., grandchildren, Jennifer Dean, John Cleary, Patrick Cleary and Andrew Cleary. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carl H. Fleming and sister, Annie V. Lewis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the sanctuary of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state at 10:30 a.m.
