Obituary
Mrs. Mary White Haygood, 64, of 748 Cross Roads Cir, Hartwell, Ga., died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at her residence.
Born July 16, 1944 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Waymond White and Lois Baker White. She retired from Monroe Auto Equipment Company with 33 years of service. She was a member of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church.
She is survived by: husband, Donald Haygood of the home, son, Tim Haygood and his wife Shanon of Hartwell, Ga., daughter, Kim Berryman and her husband Phillip of Elberton, Ga., brother, Shelton White of Bowman, Ga., and sister, Mildred Whitaker of Hartwell, Ga. Grandchildren, Johnathan Haygood, Jessica Haygood, Brittany Bryant, Hunter Berryman and Amber Berryman Great-grandchild, Colton Haygood also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jim and Ralph White.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Ben Coleman will officiate. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 1, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Tim and Shannon Haygood, 629 Kelly Road, Hartwell, Ga.
