Mrs. Mary Terrell Holmes, Age 61, of 117 Fiddler Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Hart County Hospital.

Born July 2, 1946 in Franklin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Terrell and Annie Blanche Weaver Terrell.She was a homemaker.

She is survived by:Husband, Jack Holmes of the home; Sons, Johnny Holmes of Hartwell, GA, Jackie Holmes of Dewy Rose, GA, Jerry Holmes of Dewy Rose, GA, Jason Holmes of Hartwell, GA, Jody Holmes of Hartwell, GA and Jimmy Holmes of Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Margaret Smith of Bowersville, GA, Sandra Shiflet of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Lucy Terrell of Hartwell, GA; Brothers, David Terrell of Canon, GA, Jimmy Terrell of Hartwell, GA and Perry Terrell of Clarksville, GA; Half brother, Randy Terrell of Hartwell, GA; 28 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Daughter, Peggy Hicks; Sister, Ruby Jones and brothers, Randall Terrell and Edward Terrell; Grandchildren, Shawn Destiny Holmes and Jewell Darnell Holmes.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
