Mrs. Mary Magdalene (Parsons) Hoover, age 80, of Lavonia, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at her granddaughter's home in Adairsville, GA.
Born December 1, 1932, in Winfield, KS, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Alberta (Simon) Parsons, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughter: Kathy Ball of Lavonia; sons: James F. Hoover of Toccoa and Jerry Hoover of Adairsville; brothers: George Parsons and Paul Parsons, Jr.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Duane Hoover.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at North Atlanta Memorial Park, 5188 Winters Chapel Road, Dunwoody, GA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church 231 Rothell Road Ext., Toccoa, GA 30577.
