Mrs. Mary Frances (Scott) Humphrey, age 70, of Martin, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Born August 13, 1944, in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Grace (Oliver) Scott. She was office manager at the Hartwell office for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles. Mrs. Humphrey was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Jeffrey "Jeff" Humphrey of the home; sons: Jason Michael Humphrey and Scott Alan Humphrey; grandchildren: Sierra Shea Humphrey and Jason Chase Humphrey; brother: James A. Scott; and sister: Barbara Fulbright.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Harvill and Rev. David Wilson officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at other times the family will be at the home.
