Mrs. Mary (Ethridge) Parnell, age 73, of Royston, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Hart Care Center.
Born September 8, 1943 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late C. O. and Mary Louise (Isbell) Ethridge. She was a home health care provider for many years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her son: Jake Parnell; daughter: Jennifer Parnell; three grandchildren; sisters: Suzanne Sanders, Brenda Whitworth and Joyce Baskins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister: Patricia Ethridge; and brothers: Nelson, Charles and Harold D. Ethridge.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Forbes and Rev. Bobby Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church, on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service time. At other times the families will be at their respective homes.
