Obituary
Mrs. Mary Frances Herring Ray, 84, of 303 Vickery Street, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born November 28, 1922 in Greenville Co, SC, she was the daughter of the late Yancey Herring and Lois Vickery Herring.She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
Her survivors include:Daughter, Mary Ann Mize and her husband Ronald of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Elizabeth Boggs; Two grandchildren, Shannon Mize Sokol, and Tracy Mize and two great grandchildren, Riley Sokol and Emily Mize also survive.She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Emerson Ray and a brother, Edwin Herring.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home.Rev. Keith McKenzie and Dr. Hugh Kirby will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Ronald and Mary Ann Mize, 14 Fiddlers Drive, Hartwell.
Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Mary Frances Ray.
