Mary Elizabeth (Coker) Rogers, age 89, of Canon, passed away Friday, October 14,2022, at Brookside Assisted Living in Commerce.

Born March 27, 1933, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of Harley Burton and Thelma Genora (Smith) Coker. Before retirement she worked as a seamstress for Carwood Manufacturing. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Webb Rogers; siblings: Frank Coker, James Coker, Arthur Coker, Barbara Smith, Jannie Belle Certain, Sara Lee Atkinson, Geneva Jenkins and Thelma Genora Coker.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Jimmy & Patsy Rogers of Canon; granddaughter & her husband: April Rogers Pruitt & David; great grandchildren: Emily Barber & Gabe and John Lupica.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
