Mrs. Mary Louise Haney Shaw, age 82 of 128 Joe Bailey Rd., Hartwell, Ga., died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at her home.
Born April 28, 1925 in Etowah Co., AL, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Haney and Sara Jane Jones Haney.She was retired from Wal-Mart as a Door Greeter and was former employed by the Hartwell Company.
She is survived by:Son, James W. Shaw of Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Lola Jane Coleman of Orlando, FL and Linda Jean Christian of Hartwell, GA; Brothers, Jerry Haney of Gadsden, AL and Joel Haney of Gadsden, AL; Three sisters, Judy Nelson of Boaz, AL, Joyce Jennings of Boaz, AL and Joan Dean of Birmingham, AL; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by parents and her husband, Boyd E. Shaw.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Joe Black will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
