Mrs. Mary Fae Floyd Smith, 94, of Sunnybrook Lane, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her home.

Born on July 31, 1921 in Bowersville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Floyd and Effie Vaughn Floyd.Mrs. Smith was a retired manager with Senkbeil's 5 & 10 in Royston and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia.

Survivors include her daughter: Jimmie Ann Weaver and her husband Billy of Hartwell; one sister: Marjorie Cleveland of Hartwell; one grandson: Jason Brown and his wife Susan of Bowersville; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: P.C."Pap" Smith; one grandson: Justin Brown; two brothers: Guy Floyd and CC "Petie" Floyd, Jr and one sister: Sara Nell Vickery.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. John Forbes, Dr. Larry Bolling and Rev. Olin Miller officiating.Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.The family is at the home 379 Sunnybrook Lane, Hartwell, GA. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 250 Pleasant Grove Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
