Mrs. Maryellen Canady, age 73, of Martin, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Roswell at the home of her daughter.
Born June 30, 1939, in Fairchance, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Kelley and Lilly Hannah Bowlen. She retired from Fulton County as the recording clerk of the real estate tax index. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband Grady Canady of the home; daughters: Tammy Jean Roland of Palm Cove, FL and Pamela Canady Brown of Roswell; sisters: Sandra Faye Dunn, Shirley Ray Skelton, and Velma Louise Harris; grandchildren: Stefanie Renee Roland, John Cory Brown, and Ryan Grady Brown; and great-grandson: Landon Matthew Roland.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Rev. Josh Harvill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home.
