Mrs. Marylina (Beasley) White, age 83, of Lavonia passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at her home following an extended illness.
Born July 28, 1936 in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late Phil and Mary (Holbrook) Beasley. Mrs. White along with her husband owned and operated Sharp Kut Saw Company. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Ted Martin White, Sr.; a son: Mike White and a great grandson: Hendrix Lee Benfield.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Laurie & Dan Bailey; son and daughter-in-law: Joey & Wanda White; sons: Marty White and Johnny White; grandchildren: Mary Ann White, Justin & Amy White, Amberly & Jessie Benfield, Lisa White & Fred Blackwell, April & Jonathan Miller, Adam & Megan Bailey, Becky & Kevin Macher, Kevin & Elaine White, Nick & Sarah White and Alex White; great grandchildren: Keez Roebuck, Keva Roebuck, Aliza Hart, MJ Miller, Mayven Miller, Daniel Bailey, Aubrey Jane Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Mary Beth White, Emma Kate White, Kace White, Peyton White and Madelyn White; and brothers: Tommy Beasley and Richard "Dicky" Beasley.
The funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Huycke and Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Adam Bailey, Jessie Benfield, Fred Blackwell, Jonathan Miller, Alex White, Justin White, Kevin White and Nick White.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home.
