Matthew John Tyler, age 33, of Abbeville, SC, formerly of Cornelia, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born November 8, 1988, in Demorest, he was the son of Luania Armour Rumph (Anthony) and James Ray Tyler. He was employed with Electrolux in Anderson.

He is survived by his father and mother: Anthony and Luania Armour Rumph of Madison; biological father: James Ray Tyler of Clayton; Children: Michael Wyatt Tyler age 11, Athena Mozell Tyler age 5 and Summer Snow age 10; siblings: Veronica Horton of Habersham, Ronnie Tyler of Habersham, Jason Rumph of Hamilton, IN, Josh Rumph of Jackson County, IN and Kasey Ray Tyler of Clayton.

The family will have a memorial service to honor Matthew at a later date.
