Infant Maverick Reid Sanders, of Lavonia, went to heaven to be with Jesus on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, GA

Survivors include his parents: Derek and Holly Segars Sanders; his maternal grandparents: Mark and CJ Segars of Canon, Tim and Michele Shepherd of Hartwell; his paternal grandparents: Sandra Sanders of Royston and William Sanders of Hartwell.

A small private graveside service for Maverick Sanders will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Luther Thomason officiating.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
