Obituary
Mr. Max Eugene Adams, 85, of 2658 Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on July 31, 1926 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Leland E. Adams and Ruby Elrod Adams.He was a production worker at the Hartwell Coca-Cola Bottling Company, a Hart County School Bus Driver, and a mechanic. Mr. Adams was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters: Ann Adams of Hartwell and Betty A. Little of Hartwell; and a special friend: Inez McLane of Hartwell.Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Hugh Adams and Dean Adams; and one sister: Mary A. Heaton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Little officiating.Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday night.The family is at their respective homes.Floral arrangements are optional and memorials may be made to the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 273 Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
