Mrs. Mary "Meg" (Whiten) Fulbright, age 39, of Lavonia, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at her home.
Born October 30, 1973, in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of Larry Whiten and Janice Summerville Whiten. She graduated high school from Lakeview Academy in Gainesville and earned a Bachelor's Degree from North Georgia College. She married Richard Fulbright on December 14, 1996. Mrs. Fulbright worked as an accountant with Stephens Franklin Teachers Credit Union.
She is survived by her parents: Larry & Michelle Whiten and Janice Summerville Whiten; husband: Richard Fulbright; sons: Rylee Fulbright and Ramsey Fulbright; step-daughter: Whitney White; and siblings: Parker Whiten, Paige Lally, and Morgan Whiten.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Lavonia First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Chitwood officiating. Mrs. Fulbright will lie in state beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (www.nghs.com/Hospice).
