Michael Keith Miller, age 64, of Royston, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2021 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Athens.
He was born March 4, 1957, in Donalsonville, GA, the son of the late Henry and Walla (Capps) Miller. He retired from Spacewall, Inc. as a CNC Operator. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Miller was an avid outdoorsman; he especially loved fishing and camping. However, his greatest love was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Marie (Tomlin) Miller; son & daughter-in-law: Scott & Danette Canfield; sisters: Cheryl Stubbs and Marne Thompson; grandchildren: Brandon & Kayla Leverette and Meagan Lovell; and great-grandchildren: Evan Leverette and Bryan Leverette.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Courtney Umbehant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
