Michael R. Owens

Mr. Michael Ronnie Owens, 65, of Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at his home.

Born on June 7, 1961, in Seneca, SC, he was the son of the late Jerry Owens and Shelby Bailey Owens. Mr. Owens was a stocker at Quality Foods, and he was of the Baptist Faith. He loved NASCAR, wrestling, and playing board games with his grandkids.

Survivors include his daughter: Chassidy Dalton (Grant) of Pendleton, SC; brother: Jeff Owens (Ashley) of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren: Baylor & Nova Dalton; one nephew: Trevor Owens; and his former wife: Karen McCollum Owens.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Owens will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Shorter officiating. Burial will be held in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun St, Anderson, SC 29621.
