Mr. Michael Eugene Rogers, 57, of 606 Roberts St., Elberton, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born on April 16, 1950 in Elbert Co. GA, he was the son of the late Richard E. Rogers.He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Elberton Church of God.He was a US Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his mother: Barbara D. Kesler of Ormond Beach FL; wife: Bobbie Outz Roberts of the home; two sons: Zachary M. Rogers and Frank D. Andrews both of Elberton; a daughter: Racheal L. Andrews of Elberton; three brothers: James S. Rogers of Snellville, Robert D. Rogers of Winder and Tommy D. Rogers of Pomona Park FL; a sister: Teena L. Smith of Chamblee; a grandchild: Carli Noel Andrews also survives.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery, Elberton.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel.The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. Tuesday morning at the graveside.The family is at their respective homes.
