Mr. Michael James Whitlock, 25, of 197 Glendale Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born May 28, 1981 in Nashville, TN, he is the son of James English Whitlock of Smyrna, TN and Rosie Lee Odom Teague of Bowersville, GA.He was a Carpenter for Cabinet Tree in the Vanna Community and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
His survivors include:Father; Mother; Step father, Vernon Lee Grady of Bowersville, GA; Step mother, Tammy D. Whitlock of Smyrna, GA; Three sisters, Dawn Carroll of Hartwell, GA, Jessica McCormick of Smyrna, TN and Jennifer Whitlock of Smyrna, TN; Step sister, Jessica Snow Reynolds of Ashland City, TN.He is preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Lee Reynolds.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.Mr. Reggie Rowland will officiate.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 – 2:30 prior to the Graveside Service.The family will be at the home of Eddie and Diane Carroll, 970 N. Forest Avenue, Hartwell, GA.
