Obituary
Mr. William Mickey Moorhead, 53, of 4934 Elrod Road, Gainesville, GA, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born November 23, 1953 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Delbert Moorhead and Patricia Mouchet Moorhead.He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
He is survived by:Wife, Peggy Reeves Moorhead of the home; Son, Joe Moorhead of Gainesville, GA; Brother, Rick Moorhead of Clarksville, GA and a Sister, Melanie Moorhead of Hartwell, GA.He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian Bird.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, GA.Rev. Ben Coleman will officiate.The body will be cremated.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel. The family is at the home of Melanie Moorhead, 4181 Lavonia Hwy., Hartwell, GA.
