Obituary
Mr. Vernon Michael DoRite "Mike" Carruth, 59, of Bryant Street, Royston, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his home.
Born on November 16, 1961 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Vernon Carruth and Betty Jo. Lawrence Carruth.Mr. Carruth was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother: Freddie Carruth of Hartwell; four sisters: Wanda Temples, Jackie Carruth, Debbie Milford and Sheryl Ashworth all of Hartwell; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mike wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
