Mr. Charles Michael "Mike" Franklin, 75, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on July 21, 1948 in Elberton GA, he was the son of the late Charles Harley Franklin and Edith Gilliam Franklin.  Mr. Franklin was a graduate of Georgia College, owner/operator of Agape Computers in Elberton, Georgia and of the Baptist Faith. He was a US Air Force Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years: Carol Menendez Franklin; one son: Christopher "Chris" Franklin and his wife Jamie; one daughter: Kimberly Carter and her husband Clint all of Hartwell; five grandchildren: Ella Franklin, Natalie Carter, Crew Franklin, Bentley Carter and Fynlie Franklin.  Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Billy Franklin.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

A celebration of life for Mr. Mike Franklin will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Fife officiating.
