Michael John "Mike" Fruge, age 60, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his home.

Born December 27, 1962, in Eunice, LA, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Vergie Veronie Fruge. He was an Assistant Superintendent Driller for Nabors Drilling Inc. He was of the Assembly of God faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Fruge.

He is survived by his wife: Liliana Varon Fruge; children: Travis John Fruge, Michael Brooks Fruge and Stephanie Lucero; and sister: Tamatha Fruge; 4 grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the funeral home chapel, visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Guillory Cemetery, St. Landry Parish, Eunice, LA next to his brother Bobby.
