Mr. Gerald Michael "Mike" Mosley, 61, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his home.

Born on August 6, 1958 in Conyers GA, Mike was a self-employed mechanic, built numerous motors for dirt track cars and was an avid NASCAR fan.He loved his family and grandchildren and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bowman.

Survivors include his mother: Mary Ann Risner of Hartwell; his wife: Phyllis Frame Mosley of Hartwell; a son: Brandon Mosley (Christina) of Bowersville; a daughter: Crystal Walker (Joe) of Hartwell; two sisters: Joyce Mosley of Roswell GA and Deborah Kennedy (Rex) of Danielsville GA; a step-brother: Shawn Green (Joyce) of Hartwell and five grandchildren: Reese Walker, Maylyn Walker, Trenton Walker, Abreonia Walker and Kristen Mosley.Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by a step-brother: Eric Green.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Mike Mosley will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. John Todd officiating.Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bowman.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
