Mr. William Reba "Mike" Vassar, age 53, 375 Brown St., Hartwell, died Friday, September 7, 2007 at his home.
Born February 26, 1954 in Elbert County, GA, he was the son of late William Sanford "Billy" Vassar, Jr.He was a Loom Maintenance Tech for Springs Industries.
His survivors include:Mother and step father, Loretha Baker Hill and Gene Hill of Hartwell, GA; Wife, Marsha Carter Vassar of Hartwell, GA; Son, Chad Vassar of Hartwell, GA; Brother, Mitch Vassar of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Billie Jan Vassar of Anderson, SC and Jennifer Vassar of Anderson, SC; Two grandchildren, Caeley Vassar and Ainsley Vassar also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, GA.Dr. Steve William will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at home of Loretha and Gene Hill, 127 Condor Street, Hartwell.
