Mike Weber

Michael Allen “Mike” Weber, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

Born in Willowick, Ohio, Mike spent most of his life in Northeast Ohio before relocating to Hartwell, Georgia, in 2012. After a distinguished aviation career, he retired in 2018 and embraced a slower pace of life filled with the things he loved most—traveling, camping, fishing on Lake Hartwell with friends, visiting his beloved Michigan, and spending treasured time with family and lifelong friends.

Mike was the eldest son of the late Alfred H. Weber and Elizabeth J. Weber. He shared 52 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife, Cindy (née Chinchar), whose love and companionship were among the greatest blessings of his life.

He was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Heidi Psenicka (Jason) and Katie Weber (Dave Sutton), and a devoted grandfather to Ashley and Alyssa, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.

Mike is also survived by his sisters, Kathy Mamone (Peter), Caroline Kvetensky (Norman), and Debbie Weber; his brother, Joe Weber (Sherri); and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Weber (Colleen) and Randy Weber.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Mike served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he enjoyed a remarkable career spanning more than 45 years as a professional pilot. Flying was more than a career—it was a lifelong passion that reflected his adventurous spirit and love of freedom. Whether in the skies or on the water boating with family and friends, Mike found joy in the journey and in the company of those he loved. He will be remembered for his unmistakable laugh, warm smile, and ability to make others feel welcome and valued.

Mike was a faithful Catholic and devoted member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell, Georgia. His faith, devotion to family, and quiet strength guided him throughout his life. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, integrity, and steadfast love. His gentle presence, generous heart, and unwavering commitment to those closest to him will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

His family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with those who went before him and rests peacefully in the presence of the Lord.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the Church Founders Hall. A second memorial service will be in Ohio at a day and time to be announced.

The family is grateful for the many prayers, acts of kindness, and expressions of sympathy shared during this difficult time.
