Mrs. Mildred Estelle Hardman Childers, age 74, of 261 Fairview Avenue, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Hart County Hospital.
Born September 2, 1932 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Raymond Hardman and Mildred Estelle Fuller Hardman. She was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Her survivors include:Sons, William Barry Childers, Sr of Anderson, SC, David Cox of Stone Mountain, GA, and Glen Cox of Athens, GA; Daughters, Andrea Joyce Sims of Jefferson, GA and Darlene Scroggs of Lawrenceville, GA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survives.She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew William Childers; Son, Steven Raymond Cox and a sister, Sara Ann Pharr.
The body was cremated and a private memorial service will be held on a later date. Memorials may be made to Hart County Relay for Life, 1610 Lightwood Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
