Mrs. Mildred Hicks Kelly, 82, of 321 Glendale Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at her daughter's home.
Born October 20, 1924 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late J.D. Hicks and Eva Owens Hicks.She was a Homemaker and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors include:Son, Larry Olin Kelly and his wife Mildred of Anderson, SC; Daughter, Betty K. Bailey and her husband Dan of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Mary Ruth Fowler of Bowersville, GA; Two grandchildren, Lee Bailey and Jay Bailey.She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Olin Kelly and a grandchild, Crystal Kelly Scruggs.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel.Rev. Joe Black and Rev. Scott Mize will officiate.Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10: 00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home of Betty and Dan Bailey, 230 Glendale Drive, Hartwell, GA.
