Mrs. Mildred W. Little Pilgrim, 83, of 94 Cade St., Hartwell, died Friday, September 14, 2007 at Hartwell Health Care Center.

Born on August 9, 1924 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Little and Gertrude Duncan Little.She was a retired R.N. for Ty Cobb Health Care System and a baby sitter.She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two sons: William Pilgrim and his wife Pam and Lee Pilgrim all of Hartwell; a sister: Hazel L. Dickerson of Hartwell; three brothers: Harold Little of Elberton, Paul Little of Mansfield GA and Bud Little of Royston; three grandchildren: Joshua Pilgrim, Christy Pilgrim and Amber Risner also survive.She was preceded in death by her step-mother: Emma Ginn Little; two sons: James R. Rice and Billy F. Pilgrim; a step-son: Larry E. Pilgrim; a great-grandson: Zachery Pilgrim; two brothers: Emory Little and James Little and two sisters: Annie F. Little and Lucille Little.

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Britt Ginn officiating.Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.The family is at their respective homes.
