Obituary
Mrs. Mildred White Whitaker, 73, of 10 Whitaker Road, Canon, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at her home.
Born on August 24, 1937 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Waymon White and Lois Baker White. She was the owner and operator of Mildred's Antiques and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons: Glenn Segars, Freddie Segars, Mike Segars, and Mark Segars all of Hartwell; two daughters: Debbie Beard and Linda Dickerson of Hartwell; one brother: Shelton White of Bowman; nineteen grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Mrs. Whitaker was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Charles Whitaker; two brothers: Jim White and Ralph White; and one sister: Mary W. Haygood.
Crypt side services will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Randall Starrett and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends there Monday afternoon and Monday night.
