Mrs. Minnie Lucille (Jones) Findley, age 72, of 366 Moss Ginn Road, Royston, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home.

Born August 4, 1937, in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late Clark & Carrine (Burgess) Jones. She was a retired seamstress from the textile industry. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed crafts & wood working. Mrs. Findley was a member of Vanna United Methodist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband: Boyd L. "Bud" Findley of the home; daughter: Beth Dudley of Royston; sons: Donnie Findley of Royston, Jerry Findley of Peachtree City, & Frank Findley of Royston; sister: Tommie Stewart of Canon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Claude Jones.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Vanna United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Moon & Rev. Terry Deland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
