Molly Jo (Smith) Wolpert, age 68, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home.

Born June 20, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Margaret Baker. She studied Horticulture in college and owned her own flower shop and was regional owner of Tradebank of Athens and NE GA. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband: William J. Wolpert, Jr.

She is survived by children: William J. "Joey" Wolpert, III, Pamela Wolpert, and Stephaine Dean; grandchildren: Addibrook, Kenzie, Will, Alehia, Zerria, Kayson, Austin, Nolan, Preston, Adrianna, Riley and Tiffany; siblings: Roger Smith, Donna Woods, Jim Smith, Teddy Baker, and David Smith.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Chris Trotter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Lane Crump, Austin Dean, Brayden Saxon, Wade Spencer, Joey Wolpert, and Will Wolpert. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
