Obituary
Mrs. Montelle Cherry Adams, 93, of Reed Creek School Road, Hartwell, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Hart Care Center.
Born on August 31, 1921 in Dublin, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Riley Cherry and Trudy Burns Cherry.She was a home maker and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her three sons: Steve Adams and his wife Janet of Chattanooga, TN, Eric Adams and his wife Sheryl of Katy, TX and Kurt Adams and his wife Susan of Versailles, KY; and five grandchildren. Mrs.Adams was preceded in death by her husband: James S. "Jimmy" Adams and two brothers: Comer Cherry and Russell Cherry.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Reed Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Delaney officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Reed Creek Baptist Church prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reed Creek Baptist Church, 116 Boleman Hill Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
