Obituary
Ms. Montine Roe Anderson, 86, 2333 Blackberry Court, Snellville GA, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Emory Eastside Medical Center, Snellville, GA.
She was born in Hart County GA, daughter of the late Levis Roe and Willie Weaver Roe.She retired from Sears-Roebuck Co. as a sales clerk and was a member of the Bowersville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Donna Wylie and her husband Ron of Lawrenceville GA; a son, Mike Anderson and his wife Anita of Stone Mountain GA; five grandchildren: Brent Anderson, Ben Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Matt Wiley and Bethany Wiley.She was preceded in death by her brothers: Bob, Bill and Ed Roe and a sister, Mildred Jones.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Connie Ivester will officiate.Burial will be in the Bowersville City Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Bowersville Baptist Church, PO Box 26, Bowersville, GA30516.
