Mr. Morgan Donald Hicks, age 56 of 150 Bay Branch Road, Sylvania, GA., died Tuesday, October 09, 2007 in Sylvania.
Born October 27, 1950 in Orange County, FL, he was the son of the late James R. Hicks and Eva Gladys Murray Hicks.He was the Owner of Pine Straw, Inc. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran.
Survivors include:Daughter, Jessica Harris of McDonough, GA; Brothers, James R. Hicks, Jr of Hartwell, GA and John T. Hicks of Orlando, FL; Sisters, Lillie Gene Henderson of Hartwell, GA and Mildred Harvell of Statesboro, GA; Three grandchildren, Leigh Harris, Savannah Harris and Montana Harris.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. James Sexton will officiate.Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at their respective homes.
