Mrs. Morgan Christie Cantrell Waters, 29, of River Valley Drive, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson, SC.

Born on March 27, 1988, in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of Tim R. Cantrell and Kim Herring Cantrell. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents: Tim and Kim Cantrell of Hartwell; her husband: Zach Waters; one brother: Nick Cantrell of Cumming; paternal grandparents: Billy Ray and Amanda V. Cantrell of Demorest; maternal grandmother: Jan Herring of Hartwell.Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her grandfather: Glenn Herring; and an uncle: Jeff Herring.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends at the Milltown Baptist Church from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.The family is at the home. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Hart County Mental Health Center, 228 North College Ave., Hartwell, GA 30643.
