Obituary
Mr. Morris Edwin Cannon, 64, of Airline Community, Bowersville, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at his home.
Born on December 21, 1952 in Royston GA, he was the son of the late Calvin Cannon, Sr. and Wanda Jordan Cannon. Mr. Cannon was owner/operator of Cannon Monument & Sandblasting for 37 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife: Hazel Alexander Cannon; one son: Chad Cannon and his wife Julie of Bowersville; one brother: Calvin Cannon, Jr and his wife Linda of Elberton; three sisters: Joyce Foster of Hartwell, Kathy Hill and her husband Doug of Danielsville and Debbie Trotter of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Abigail and Kenzie Cannon also survive.Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Lamar Cannon.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
The family will be at the home of his son Chad and Julie Cannon, 199 Deer Run Lane, Bowersville, GA 30516.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Drive, Suite C, Athens, GA 30606.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements
